Dalsa Falcon

High-speed, smear-free still image capture is the hallmark of DALSA's Falcon cameras. Applications such as electronics manufacturing, semiconductor inspection, and industrial metrology (gauging) all need to image fast-moving objects without smear or distortion. To meet this need, DALSA offers true global shutter CMOS and interline transfer CCDs. With both technologies, the sensor has the ability to electronically shutter itself and "stop the action."

Dalsa Genie

DALSA's Genie cameras combine standard gigabit Ethernet technology with Dalsa's Trigger-to-Image reliability framework to dependably capture and transfer images from the camera to the host PC.  The cameras are based on high quality, highly sensitive CCD and CMOS sensors with global shutters and are available in a variety of resolutions ranging from VGA to 1600 x 1200 in both color and monochrome.  Color Genie cameras feature white balancing and advanced Bayer conversion to produce crisp and accurate color images.

Dalsa Piranha2

DALSA’s Piranha2 cameras deliver 8 or 10 bit output (selectable) at 80 MHz throughput with higher responsivity and higher line rates.  Available in resolutions from 1k to 8k, Piranha2 cameras are smaller, lighter, and use a single power supply. Cabling and interface are simplified with the Camera Link™ high-speed serial standard. The camera provides quiet, uniform output thanks to CDS (correlated double sampling) and embedded flat-field correction algorithms. Gain and offset are fully programmable for each output channel, and the camera can output test patterns for cable/system troubleshooting. All resolutions provide appropriate, readily-available standard lens options (c-mount, f-mount, and M72x0.75 photography standards).

e2v AViiVA SC2 CL Color Linescan Camera

The performance and reliability of this camera make it suitable for machine vision applications requiring low-cost color capture.  Such applications can include print, packaging inspection or part sorting. With this camera, one avoids the usual problems observed with tri-linear sensors on optical alignment and object synchronization.

  • Flat-field correction and contrast expansion functions
  • Embedded white balance and color space correction
  • A very compact mechanical design that incorporates a 4k color linear sensor allow synchronization of several cameras
  • Programmable settings let the user work at different integration times, gains and offsets. The external clock and trigger allow synchronization of several cameras.

e2v Eliixa UC4 / UC8 Line Scan Camera

The ELiiXA Color camera is ideal for applications requiring multiple wavelength detection (including NIR).  A single ELiiXA camera can replace a two camera system of a conventional color camera and a monochrome or NIR camera.  The fourth monochrome line will give you more accuracy to define colors in the CIE color system and the NIR version will help you to see what your eyes can't.

  • Line rate up to 18KHz
  • Row spacing of 2 pixels center to center
  • Enhanced blue response
  • three lines (RGB) and four lines (RGB and fourth line either monochrome or NIR)

Sick Ranger

With the use of laser triangulation, the Ranger extracts the true shape of objects which can be used to measure object height, shape and volume, to detect and locate shape defects, or to make quality grading. In addition to measuring 3D, the Ranger can also measure a multitude of other object features such as  gray scale, gloss, and scatter – at the very same time.
