Sensors Inc. keeps standard lengths of 2m, 5m, and 10m cables in stock, with M8 or M12 connectors by Murr Elektronik. Our standard cables are yellow PVC, but lead time on a variety of colors and materials is available.

Murr Elektronik Cables with LED's
Troubleshooting is simplified by using a cable with built-in LED's by Murr Elektronik. A green LED indicates power, and a yellow LED indicates an output. For example, using an LED cable with an encoder eliminates the need to use a meter to troubleshoot the encoder.

Murr Elektronik M12 Steel IP69K Cables
Specifying one of our many IP69K-rated sensors for an application in Food and Beverage manufacturing can be undermined by using a cable that does not meet the same specification. While our standard sensor cables are rated IP67 and stand up well to wash-down, the Zinc nuts are not rated to withstand the acidic and caustic chemicals used to sterilize dairy, meat, and frozen food manufacturing facilities. In addition to the rugged stainless steel nut, the cable itself can withstand temperatures up to 105 degrees Celsius and is available in PVC or Santoprene 271.
